| Crunchyroll-Hime’s ready for warm fall evenings and chilly mornings~ It’s the work of November’s Monthly Featured Artist : Ni ~ !!
Each month, we’re teaming up with a unique artist to produce a special commemorative piece featuring our one and only Crunchyroll-Hime!
Ni says,
"After I was approached and given the opportunity to draw Crunchyroll-Hime for one of these monthly collaborations, I tried to think of things I could do. After all, November was the definition of Autumn: vibrant colors, oversized sweaters, scarves, and leaves as far as the eye can see. Putting her in a scenario where she's surrounded by those said colors walking around in said oversized sweater and scarf--simple enough, right?
It was only until recently did the real inspiration present itself. Taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of nature put things into perspective for me. Being out there, soaking it up, made time stand still when life was going a little too fast for me. In that moment, I realized a couple truths that I wanted to highlight in my drawing. Things you do don’t have to be super grandiose to be amazing. And you don't always have to color in between the lines to get your point across. We’re all moving so fast and stressing over stuff that we often forget to stop and appreciate the beauty in everything around us--right down the little, simple things.
The little, simple things like a leaf."
